Jonathon spent over 7 years as a driving tester for the Roads and Maritime Service (RMS) and Service NSW.

During this time, he’s tested more than 14,000 driving applicants, including teenagers stepping into the next phase of their life, and international learners transitioning to an Australian Driver’s Licence. He’s also tested the elderly and disabled, ensuring they are safe on the road and can continue to enjoy their own independence.

Jonathon founded Guardian Driving School with a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the RMS driving regulations and testing requirements. This experience and awareness means as a driving instructor, he has first hand knowledge of what is expected of applicants to be successful in their driving assessment, and can teach this in a manner that is supportive and encouraging. With a precious family of his own, he also understands the importance of teaching others the right skills and knowledge to equip them to be safe and confident drivers on the roads.

Guardian Driving School embodies all these principals. Their goal is to empower drivers with a complete understanding of the road rules, have the strength to apply them with confidence when required, and create a solid foundation for a great future in driving.

Jonathon has complied with all Police and Working With Children checks and uses vehicles that comply with all Australian Safety Standards and insurances.
